Faith in Communities (FIC) was created from a unique community partnership with the renowned faith based organization- Los Angeles Metropolitan Churches. Formed in July 2002, FIC is designed to maximize and leverage existing resources and expertise in community organizing, program development, management and fiscal stewardship. The goal is to create a new breed of faith and community based-organizations through a unique partnership. Faith In Communities aims to increase capacity and ability of small to mid sized grassroots organizations. Our advocacy and services include a culturally appropriate model of intensive outreach, adult education and advocacy, and training activities.
