This workshop includes an interactive budget scenario. Participants will learn how to prepare and manage multiple budgets, gain an understanding of operation and program budgets, learn basic accounting principles and budget management.

Introduction to Program Design

This workshop presents an overview of program design and evaluation. Participants will learn the components of a logic model and an evaluation plan through a hands-on approach. Participants will draft an evaluation plan that includes key action steps they can take immediately for their program.

Grantwriting 101

This workshop presents an overview of the basics of grantwriting. Participants will learn the key parts of a proposal, how to organize a proposal, what goes in each section, proposal process planning, how to draft compelling language and how to assess staff skill sets.

How to Build a Successful Collaboration

This workshop presents an overview of how participants learn to create collaborations and/or partnerships. Participants learn the advantages of collaborations and partners; how to share resources and knowledge; how to maintain effective partnerships; and strategies to avoid common pitfalls and resolve conflicts.
